La Cala Golf & Spa Resort - Campo América - Mijas

Cabell B. Robinson has designed of the Costa del Sols's most difficult courses at Campo América. Located in mountainous and uneven terrain, the Campo América is thanks to its characteristics - ideal for top competition. Among the highlights are various elevated greens - American style - which require special precision.

Inclined fairways also create serious problems - including for medium - handicap golfers. Widely varied on each hole, the tees offer different angles for the drive, which simplifies matters to a certain extent though you can't relax for one moment on this interesting and "motivating" course. La Cala Golf & Spa Resort has three 18-hole courses and another six-hole par-three layout.

Ho to get there: turn of the highway at La Calla de Mijas and you will see a sign for the golf course, which is about 6 kilometres away. There is also another way to get there, from a road located between Mijas Golf and Alhaurín Golf.
