Flamingos Golf - Benahavís

This spectacular golf course is situated in one of the most beautiful enclaves of the Costa del Sol from each of its 18 holes, designed by architect Antonio García Garrido, players enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean sea, Africa and Gibraltar. The Arroyo del Taraje stream passes trough Flamingos Golf and ends in a lake which constitutes a natural border for the course at 1 to 10. the vegetation has been taken into consideration right down to the smallest detail and each hole is defined by its own trees.

The most demanding golfer will find himself among cypresses, orange, pine, carob, chestnut and promegranate trees. From the clubhouse you will captured by the beauty of the views of the lake, the sea and the golf course. The club also has a short par-3 course on the practice range. The complex includes one Andalucía's most attractive hotels, the Villa Padierna, a five-star luxury establishment with exceptional cuisine. The second 18-hole course, Villa Padierna Golf Club, opens at the end of 2006.

How to get there: Turn right off the N340 highway at Km. 166 after El Paraíso and before Cancelada. The course is located some 500 metres inland.
