La Resina Golf & Country Club - Estepona

Opened in 2005, this Costa del Sol course, located between Estepona and Marbella, comprises nine hotels - par-3S and par-4S. Great care has been taken with the design, and it the course is part of a prestigious urbanisation. The gardens and landscape especially stand out. The pleasant layout winds between attractive lakes and tropical gardens - as well as olive trees. La Resina is rated one of the Costa del Sol's best nine-hole courses, and its owners are proud of the immaculate state and maintenance of the tees, fairways and greens - which are of an extremely high standard. It is no surprise that the green-keepers have come from Valderrama. The course was designed by Craig Cooke and Bradley Smith.

How to get there: From the N-340, Marbella to Estepona, take the turn-off to Selwo Park (Km. 162.5), then head to the right at the second roundabout.
